Thoughts on replacing Bose speakers with Infinity's
 

I well aware of the issue that the Bose system's speakers are 2-ohm. I just recently found out the Infinity's reference and kappa line of speakers are 2 ohm. I'm wondering how they would be as replacements for the Bose.

I also know that Image Dynamics make component speakers in 2 ohm as well.

Besides efficiency difference, can you think of other reasons why these 2 ohm models could not replace the Bose?

Blows speakers and amps are a combo. The equalization in the Blows amp may make new speakers sound worse.
