A.P.B. for scorchie! (Cel phone thing)
Hey scorchie ….. Greg and I are in the process of purchasing the Nokia kits that you suggested (thank you btw) from Steve for our 1999 E430 sport (s) black and silver. And we were wondering if we need or should change our antennas too? I think they are in the rear windshield and Greg seems to think they are in the rear bumper. Regardless they were for our analog factory phones and I don’t think that should matter. Should it?
And would we have better reception if we put the bump/blob antenna on the roof like they did for the 2000 and newer models.
Any thoughts on this matter are and will be much appreciated.
And anyone else who has an opinion on this please fee free to in light us.

Eventhough we added an OEM MB roofantenna on Scorchie's C43 (for GPS...and cellphone), he currently uses the OEM bumper antenna that came with his analog phone in combination with his Nokia 6310i kit...
His C55 uses the roofantenna in combination with the Nokia 6310i kit.

Yeah, what Steve said...
Although I plan to change the C43 to use the roof blob for the cellular antenna, I don't find that the CLK55 (with roof blob) has much better reception than the C43 (with bumper antenna)..
So that's my anecdotal evidence...
