Listening to car audio using bluetooth headset rather than the car speakers

There are times when I wish to drive in silence, but a passenger would like to listen to something from the car audio system (radio, Sirius, cd, music register). Is it possible to use the car's bluetooth feature to direct the audio output to a bluetooth headset, rather than to the car's speakers? Thank you.

Nope. Only alternative is if you have the rear-seat entertainment package, which comes with wireless headsets. At least for the E-Class, there are two different systems, one factory-installed, one VPC-installed. The VPC one should be easy to add to an existing car.

This probably would give you the functionality you're looking for -- passengers can listen/watch their own content independent from the driver /speakers.
