audio help?
hey got a question and was wondering if someone can help me out...
i have a 2011 c250 4matic, i installed a complete secondary system in my car
- after market deck in the glove box
- two amps in the rear 1 ( 4 channel amp that taps into the cars speaker wires, and one for the bass)
- three switchs to turn it all off
the system powers up fine and plays, but when i turn it all off the factory system wont turn on? can this be an issue that was cause by disconnecting the battery???

When you say you "tapped in" the speaker wires.......did you sever the speaker connection from the factory amp or did you tap into the speaker wires from the factory amp without disconnecting them.
If the speaker wires have been severed from the factory amp......maybe the amp senses no load and prevents the factory head unit from coming on to protect itself.
