Strange Sat Radio Problem
Strange Sat Radio Problem (Cross posted with W211 forum) About a week ago, my 2007 W211 started having an odd problem.
The "2" button does not work in Sat Radio mode.
It works just fine in every other screen and every other button works in Sat Radio.
Has anyone ever seen this before?

first I have seen. would be software related though, don't know if sat tuner or the comand display would be the culprit since the data is transmitted via optical

Wonder if it is worth hunting down a fix.
It really does no harm other than only having 9 presets instead of 10.
Guessing it is a SW screw up in the radio, as if it was HW or the headunit, I would think other screens using the #2 button would also show issues.
I know they just did a channel download. Maybe it is related to that?

Just remember there was some funky stuff going on back when your ride was new even though the comand was designed in 03, the satellite info was 7-9 characters and when Sirius went to 13, the comand couldn't parse the info correctly. they also did a channel change which screwed it up also and left it to MB to figure out. But for the #2 alone, I wouldn't know where to speculate unless you are trying to preset the 2 to a station that doesn't exist anymore. try saving it as channel 002 and see what happens

Got it fixed.
Apparently for some reason when Sirius loaded new channels it left #2 so blank it did not know what to do.
Just manually went to the channel and rememorized it and all is well.
Wooo Hooo Fixed the Wife's car, might even get sex tonight!
