W124 E320 - Blower running...too high?
My blower is intermittently running too high on my climate control. Sometimes on minimum fan setting it will be much higher than minimum, with other speeds only making it faster.
-When I hit the 'O' which should turn the whole system off, the blower keeps running regardless. It does not continue to run when the car is turned off.
-About 7000 km's ago the blower regulator was replaced with new, and the A/C system was refilled and given a clean bill of health.
-The A/C stopped working a while ago, I'm not sure why, but I don't see how that would effect the newer blower motor issue.
-Blower motor fuse has been checked, there are no cracks (it's been replaced with a regular fuse tie in).
-It appears to keep the right temperature.
I'm stumped, only thing I can think of are the control switches themselves, but don't want to rip stuff apart without knowing. Anyone had a similar issue?
