2013 C350 Coupe
Question about my HK memory card feature.

Ok, so I have a 2013 C350 coupe with the HK sound/media package. I have the sd card in the dash/head unit. My issue is, I loaded my entire Itunes library onto the sd card, and when it's in the head unit, it will only read up until the "L" artists. All of the rest of the files are on the card, I checked for it on my laptop, and they are there.

So is there a maximum number of sub folders it will see? I have over 30gb of music on it, so I'm not sure if that's too many also.

Should I cut down the number of folders and see if that does it?

Thanks.

So I started to clean up my subfolders and sure enough, more folders appeared in my search. I guess there is a limit to the amount of folders it can see.

there's also a limit of 4000 songs, regardless of how many folders

Ah, ok.

I need to read my manual, because I don't even know how to use the hard drive storage. I've been busy just enjoying driving the car.

usually the hard drive storage unit will only allow you to upload music files from a purchased CD, it will not allow you to upload mp3 files... and the upload takes forever!

use the chip instead.

Can we upload DVD movies to the hard drive storage?

no. when you put the dvd in, the head jumps to the Video option to play it.
when you insert a cd, if it's can be uploaded, you will see REC, if you don't see REC, you can't upload it.
don't know if you could play a dvd that was computer loaded onto a usb drive. .. try it and let us know
