30-Pin iPod cable to Lightning adapter, which one works?
Hi all,
I have a 2010 C350 with the media interface and the 30 pin iPod cable in the glove box.
The MB cable that is in the glove box has the part #:
204 827 04 04
I want to use an Apple branded adapter to attach an iPhone 6 and I’m seeing either the:
30 pin to Lightning adapter: https://www.apple.com/ca/shop/produc...30-pin-adapter
0.2M 30 pin to Lightning cable
https://www.apple.com/au/shop/produc...in-adapter-02m
Will either of these 100% work and allow me to use the Media Interface option with an iPhone 6?
Thanks and sorry if this has been asked/answered before, I tried quite a few keyword searches in the W204 and A/V sub-forums but didn’t find a clear answer.
EDIT:
For anyone who is the same boat as me, I could not get a definitive answer on if the 0.2m cable was 100% compatible (some answers on other forums said it didn’t work) so I just used an 80GB iPod Classic.
