Headunit Survey
Not sure - I did see a DVD on it at CES and was impressed.
Take it for what it is worth!
Thanks
Brad

I have seen the Kenwood screen with the touchscreen. I personally thought it was sub-par. I need to check out the clarion unit. I 'm pretty happy with my Alpine, however my wife wants a touchscreen one, since it's more "simpflied"...
It is funny that it always comes down to what the wife wants! I have the same issues! LOL
Thanks
Brad
This is the Unit that I am putting in a bunch of our cars ....

im biased towards alpine, but many of my friends agree that pioneer screen quality is a bit better than alpine. to me, can you really tell the difference on a 6 or 7 inch screen? i dont think so. alpine has their units more easily set up than pioneer also.

I just did a long audition of the Clarion v. the pioneer and alpine. The clarion is SO much nicer as far as looks, ease of use and resolution!
Thanks
Brad
u have any pics?

Brad
Which models of Clarion, Pioneer and Alpine did you compare? I'm thinking of getting the Alpine CDA-7990 F1.
Thanks
Brad
The reason being simply that although they look great in the advertising literature, it is more important to see how well the sit in the dash (flushness) and colour match to the surrounding leather if it be 'bird's eye maple' for example.

motorized screens are great for covering the ac vents, and lighting up the inside of the vehicle at night..
and they look so naff as an after thought
