DashCam Recommendations?
Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a make/model of dashcam with a decent quality lense (to make out plates etc.) I am just looking for a simple front facing cam, preferably with a suction cup to mount, rather than the adhesive glue ones that force the camera's to stay mounted permanently. (Living in hot south Florida, I take down my radar detector and dashcam when parked normally because they get BAKED in the cabin).
I had a "Papago! P3" that lasted me about 8 years, and was an excellent camera, easy to mount, use, and high quality. Unfortunately, they do not make them anymore. I have been browsing Amazon, however many of the camera's are for Uber drivers, with 2 or 3 cameras.
My budget is up to around $350 for the right cam.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
