XM Radio and Euro NAV / COMAND

I understand that the Euro COMAND has an AUX input? Is there a way to set that up for an IPOD as well as for XM Radio?

So if you have two sources going into one AUX input is there a clean way to switch them?

How does the COMAND unit know to play AUX? is there a button for it? IS the AUX different from the TV/ Video input?

I'm planning to get the Euro COMAND Unit.........

Thanks for the input............

when you press the SYS button, there is a soft button for choosing AUX. as for a clean way to switch between iPod and XM, you could hardwire the XM in with an FM transmitter and you could hook up the iPod to the AUX

You also might consider adding the TV tuner which adds two Aux inputs. You can then connect whatever you wish.

Yes it is. I'm quite surprised at what it picks up. The picture is often compromised but I expect that with mobile TV reception. What's surprising is that it will pick up and hold stations better than some aftermarket TV tuners I've seen with LARGE external antennas.
