W245, happens only during heavy rain, engine sounds not normal, jerk, lost power and during idling it will off itself and had to restart a few times. have to wait about 30 minutes and restart and happen again.

DId you get this issue figured out? I recently had a similar issue, I was driving over a mountain pass about 100 km/h at about -10C and then the car started to sputter and loose power when accelerating and it threw a code (not sure what it was as I didn't have my reader with me) I limped to the nearest town and drove into a garage. They where not open but when I came back to the car and started it again, it was back to normal. This happened one more time on that trip and so far not again.

Any thoughts?
