Coolant Leaking in ~1000 kms

Coolant Leaking in ~1000 kms
? leak from the cap.
My 2015 w246 B class B200 CDI run 1,05,000 kms has been suffering from coolant loss from the past 7000kms. Twice on highway runs I got low coolant warning and had to top up. Recently service was done 1300 kms back and coolant cap was replaced as no leak could be identified. But today I got the coolant low warning again. The coolant reservoir shows signs of spilled coolant.
There is no identifiable leak from the radiator or any of the hoses. There is no white smoke from the exhaust. I do get a bit of black smoke on hard acceleration which I assume is normal.
Should I change the tank or open up the engine looking for a leak? Or look into the hoses going behind the wheel well?

I have a 2014 B250 with 154,000K on it. Bought it with Low Coolant Level. had the Car serviced, a month ago however I do not feel the coolant was topped up. I topped the Coolant up and will keep monitoring it. I did scan the car and find the Rear Light Level Sensor was bad and I have replaced that. I suspect that if the coolant continues to go low, and there is not white smoke (indication of head gaskey leak) nor Water in the Crankcase then it would most likely be a failing waterpump. With over 100,000k it is possible with the age of the vehicle that you could be experiencing a waterpump failure. Especially if the majority of those miles are city driving indicating a higher number of hours on the engine than Highway mileage.
