It's Coming!.. C-Class 350 4-Matic Coupe

To our amazement, we learned today that Mercedes is now taking orders on the C-Class 350 4-Matic Coupe for early spring delivery. So we placed our order TODAY, just as you see it here but with Xenons. Now we wait...

On a side note, the E-Class Coupe will also be available in a 350 4-Matic as well, and the C-300 4-Matic sedan will go out of production in the spring to be replaced by the C-350 4-Matic Sedan!

Will never understand why people like AWD besides areas with extime snow winters. I came from two AWD Infiniti cars and could say for sure it is much more excitement to drive RWD, I love precise cornering and set of good winter tires will work for winter better than AWD with all season tires most people drive.

Do you see the car I personally drive? "Precise cornering" in any stock Benz is a pipe dream, rear or four wheel drive! Besides, have you ever driven a GT-R? So my comment to you is, I will never understand why people who desire precise cornering vehicles buy stock Benz's?

So let's face reality shall we? The C-Class Coupe, in either configuration, is really a chick car, and it corners like one. Winters here have been averaging 15 - 30 inches of snow per season, and my wife enjoys the peace of mind a 4-Matic AWD will bring to her new car.

Sorry but you are missing my point, no meter what you drive ugly and cheapo looking GT-R or much better car for same money as Porsche for example - phisics will be same RWD will always win in cornering precision. BTW your GT-R is not stock? In what parts? Reality? Reality is that most drivers of AWD cars thinking that that option will do magic for them on icy road forgetting that they are driving stock all season tires.

I would've loved 4matic since I'm in Toronto... but I didn't want to wait so stuck with RWD for many winters ahead

Okay... sure "it's ugly"... if you say so!....

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but you assumed that just because you purchased a rear wheel drive car, its cornering would be "more precise" than a 4 wheel version of the same car... and that isn't always the case. There are plenty of road tests that prove otherwise, that among stock models, the loss of control is mainly due to the myriad of electronic stability controls found on modern road cars. There are actually 4 wheel variants of certain cars that even corner better than their rear wheel brethren do, but I will grant you this, 4 wheel variants are not always as much fun, especially if you enjoy drifting!

Hmmm... My friend's Porshe turbo is 4WD... Some Lamburginis are too. Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is "precise cornering" and how does it depend on the drive according to physics?

No meter how good looking this car it is still NISSAN made, company that making Juke's and other extremely ugly cars. Your car is good looking, but for this money I would drive Porsche with stock options. No offense, that is just opinion of someone who drove Nissan/Infiniti for 8 years.

Well, I said most means not all. If you combine all Ferraris, Lambos, etc together you will see that % of AWD will be much smaller. Take F1 as example. If you don't know something there is plenty of readings on google.com

A smaller fraction does not automatically imply worse. In fact, it usually means the opposite. Are you saying we also should use bald tires like on racing F1?

Google? Have never heard of it... OK, let me spell it out. The question was if you knew what you were talking about and the answer was quite clear.

Just ask yourself question why F1 are not AWD but Rally does in most cases? Actually some real summer tires are same bald too, you could buy them if you like to get your car to extreme.
Point is different, AWD is known to under-steer or even worse over-steer by definition, that could cause death in fast race like F1 and needed for slow/offroad mostly racing as rally. I could say for sure that after 8 years of driving only AWD I am amazed how good RWD is!!! I will never get back to it, only probably on my Jeep it is good for off-road and towing something.

- 4-matic benzes are fantastic. They're perfect for winter.
- Rear wheel drive AMG's are amazing and i love them to death
- I've driven the Nissan GT-R (almost bought one) and it's a dream come true to drive!!

All cars have their perks! No need to fight!

Right, than you might need this pretty car in your tuning garage. It most likely shares same parts with your pretty $90K GT-R as well ...

honestly speaking if Nissan installed twin-turbo on same Z370/G37 engine and made it fast as nuts, priced it ridiculously 3 times more - doesn't mean this car anyhow become super-car and don't belong anymore to other pretty brothers from Nissan family as Juke above for example ....

Simpleton thoughts from the ignorant... but that's okay... I fully understand.... But compared to cars with real precision handling, the C-350 RWD coupe is still an imprecise handling (but nice looking) chick car, their target demographic..., nothing wrong with that... I drive my wife's GLK 350 4-Matic once in awhile too, (a chick SUV) and I'm sure I'll be driving her C-350 4-Matic Coupe when it gets home... so I'm no different, other than I have a GT-R to remind me that I'm still alive!

The GT-R has clearly proven to be a supercar even in its stock form. It has claimed victories over many exotics on the nurburgring and on the streets.

You just sound very jealous you can't afford a GT-R

Look around on most car forums, the GT-R gets a lot of respect even from people with cars that cost 2-3x

Not sure, I am on MB forum why would I talk about GT-R so much? Should it be Nismo or GT-R forum instead? How would you respect someone writing here "Do you see the car I personally drive?"??? Besides as I said - I wouldn't pay even half of this money for Nissan no meter which one they all same to me. I am tired of two Infiniti I just got rid.

Why don't you get one than? It will be great addition to the Ferrari's list you got.

I guess it was just brought up because of your AWD comparsion... but I have to say the C350 coupe is terrible to drive.. I don't find it sporty at all and the steering is really light.

If it were a performance car, it'd be different... but it's not fast nor sporty. IMO it's quite overpriced too !
