Leasing Your C250 Coupe---Share Details!

Hi all--- Happy New Year! I'm currently looking into leasing a C250 and was hoping we could get a thread going to share specifics (pricing, down payment, etc.) regarding lease deals from owners.

My dealer is quoting me the lease "special" offered from MBUSA: 36 month lease @ $399/month + tax, $3844 due at signing (includes $2,650 capitalized cost reduction, $795 acquisition fee and first month's lease payment of $399.)
Excludes title, taxes, registration, license fees, insurance, dealer prep and additional options. Advertised 36 months lease payment based on MSRP of $40,090

Doesn't seem like such a deal... please share!

Yeah, that deal stinks... I got a 24 month lease, 12k miles per year, $44,100 MSRP, $2,500 total due at signing (this includes EVERYTHING, taxes, fees, 1st month payment) for $299 per month (including 2 years pre-paid maintenance).

Although, I doubt many people will be able to get this same deal, as it includes $2,000 merceds loyalty, $1,500 extra incentive through my fathers work (J.P. Morgan) and heavy discounting from my dealer since we are great customers (bought two that night).

The other lease deal wasn't as good, but still great. $44,800 MSRP, 24 months, 12k miles per year, $2,500 due at signing and $399 per month including 2 year maintenance. This was higher because I still had 11 months to go on my lease, and was over by 3,500 miles. Luckily, MB at the time was offering to eat 8 of my 11 monthly payments, so all I needed to roll into the lease was 3 monthly payments and 3,500 miles worth of overages. It came out to about $100 more a month than the other lease.

JusticeSquad 01-03-2012 07:39 PM

I just leased my 2012 c250 coupe for $1,500 down with a $352 payment a month. I upped my payment a month to $376 which includes the two annual oil changes which they claim cost $800 (which I think is BS) but oh well. The MSRP was $41,100 for a 24 month lease 10k/year. Pretty sick deal. They gave me a $2,000 conquest credit because my last car was an audi, so there was an incentive to change luxury car dealers.

I was contemplating doing the $399, $4k down and decided against it until a friend hooked me up with someone at the dealership to get my downpayment lowered.

Goodluck!

Ryan9095 01-03-2012 08:40 PM

$352 w/ $1,500 down seems like a great price!

My sales guy told me to come back tomorrow because that's when the new numbers for Spring will be in (apparently they change after the Winter Event?) I want a low down AND monthly payment!

I will get the $2,000 conquest incentive and I'm hopefully going to slash off at least 5% for the Sale Price. I was also told that MB would eat the last 3 payments I owe to BMW for my current lease. Not sure if there is much validity to that statement or how it would be done. Any thoughts?

Just wondering, which leasing company did you go to and how long ago did you lease? The numbers i got quoted for January are in the 500s which seems a bit too high and thats only with P1 package. Zero down and taxes up-front.

Dave,

When and where did you lease your car? That seems like a good deal congrats!

I used best buy auto leasing in brooklyn (bestbuyleasing . com) Much easier going to a broker than trying to find the best deal yourself. Keep in mind that I did get a 2k conquest rebate, which helps a lot.

Ryan, I picked up the car from the broker's location in brooklyn, but the salesman from the actual dealership was there to sign the paperwork, so I technically bought the car from benzel-busch mercedes in englewood NJ.

attached are some iphone pics of the car I took a few days after I picked it up (picked up on 11/30/11)

waiting for terry's jb+ tune!!

Ryan9095 01-09-2012 03:22 PM

Dave,

It looks gorgeous congratulations! I also will be getting a 2k conquest incentive coming from a BMW. My best quote so far is 399 with tax (6%), same terms as yours, with 1k extra in down payments. Plus, the only option I added at the price was the full leather seating package... your car is practically 4k more. Thank you for the website recommendation I definitely will be checking it out!

good luck, let me know how it goes!

So jealous......

My lease is $1700 p month over 36 months. Admittedly only 20% residual and a 40% tax break. The MSRP was close to 100k and I picked it up on the road for $85k :nix:

You guys in the US are so spoilt with how cheap your cars are! If we had those prices here in Oz I think Mercedes market share would b close to 100%

As I said...so jealous. :slap:

BodnarMB 01-13-2012 09:26 PM

what is 2k conquest incentive?

I leased my base model
39K
for
$1600 down initially
$426mo

39mo

Ryan9095 01-14-2012 09:29 AM

Conquest Incentive is a program MB offers for people who switch from a competitive vehicle brand (ie. BMW, Audi, etc.) to Mercedes. Apparently the amount varies per month and rages from a $1,000-$2,000 credit.

BodnarMB 01-14-2012 12:05 PM

does it have to be a lease that they are signing me over from. For instance my car prior was a purchased 2003 audi a4. Also I have a 2008 jaguar xj that I am looking to jump ship on you think i would be able to get that incentive as well?

The 2k conquest works for leasing or purchasing. As long as if you have the registration for the Audi or Jaguar(leased or purchased), you are eligible. Must be in your name tho.

Should note that Lexus qualified for this for my lease. Think it works for "competitor" brands.

hvc350 01-14-2012 10:01 PM

Here is some information on the MB Competitor Conquest program:

Getting behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz certainly has it rewards.

If you currently own a BMW, Audi, Lexus, Jaguar, Porsche, Range Rover, Infiniti, Acura, Cadillac, Lincoln, Volvo, Jeep or VW you can get $2,000 toward a 2012 Mercedes-Benz of your choice. *Driving a Mercedes-Benz has never been more rewarding.

*Qualified customers only. Offer excludes 2011 and 2012 Sprinter and SLS models. See dealer for details. Expires 1/31/12.

I'm trying to lease a C250 and they gave me this deal. Doesn't seem good- at all- compared to what other people are getting. Don't know whether to just go elsewhere or negotiate. :nix:

$45,610 MSRP

- Arctic white w/ MB tex
- P1 package
- Lighting package
- Keyless go
- Lane tracking package
- 18" 5-spoke
- Rear spoiler

Ryan9095 01-25-2012 07:50 PM

They aren't taking any money off the MSRP. Ask them what their selling price is and make it known you are shopping around so not to waste your time. Tell them you want their best offer and go from there.

My first quote was 399/month with tax, 2500 down payment, 24 month lease 10kMPY. I will be negotiating that further a lot of people on this forum got deals that are low 300's/month. Good luck and keep us updated!

Ouch! That is over $500 a month if you consider the down payment. I am sure you can negotiate further. What is the MSRP? And what are they giving you as a 24 month residual?

Ryan9095 01-25-2012 07:57 PM

Yeah I know the MSRP was low considering I only added the full leather seating option and iPod media interface (came out to $40,155)

They wouldn't tell me the money factor/residual but said that 24 month was the best because I'd be paying the least depreciation.

Where are you located? If near the Bay area I can put you in contact with my sales guy. He can always trade with other dealers as well as locate something in the VPC for you.

Ryan9095 01-25-2012 08:04 PM

Unfortunately I am East Coast but if his quote is significantly better it would be well worth my while to pay a carrying company to bring it over to me. What is your lease deal?
