Hi,

I am thinking about doing the C350 with black seating and the ash olive trim. I have not been able to find a dealer that had that trim so was wondering if anyone has seen it or even has some pictures of it that are not stock MB photos. Just trying to avoid a bad surprise when I order the car.

If anyone has some thoughts, I would love to hear what you guys think.

I don't have any photos other than press kit stuff. For those that find the gloss wood look a little "old" the new matt look allows wood into the cabin with a younger more contemporary look IMHO. I like it but the gloss wood has never bothered me other than keeping it scratch free.

Thanks for the input. That is sort of the impression I have as well. I currently have the glossy walnut and its nice, but the matte wood with a different type of grain could be interesting as well. Its just hard to tell how it will look with a black interior.

bullitt: please post photos, if you can; i'd be most appreciative. you have the interior combination i'm thinking of ordering and my small-town dealer NEVER has anything in stock to inspect.

I test drove a C250 coupe yesterday with the matte olive wood. I love it. It reminds me of furniture wood. Very elegant and looks great with either almond or ash. I wish I had remembered to take photos.

I used to love the Rosewood that was in the early M35 and 45 from Infiniti. It was just classy.
