C350 coupe question

So i am about to buy a c 350 coupe in the following week and ive been thinking that is my advanced agility package worth giving up for? the car that i want to get has the advanced agility package but no lighting package, which is quite dissapointing. Should i buy the car and mod the headlights later?

I have C350 with light package, and i can tell you without AAP you would be just as happy, but if you get AAP but give up lighting you will be disappointed.

sure, i understand you don't want to wait, however it's not a small purchase, especially for something like light package you are giving up alot of functions, and cosmetic attraction to this car, it's not a small lost, i am sure you already read about how many people on the forum loves the automatic High beam, corner side lighting, and the nice HID coloring to the light, I love it and it's not something a brighter light bulb would replace. it's worth it to wait on it, and shop other dealer to see if they have it. Than buy it and wishing you had it every time you see another person talking about it. because it's not a plug and play replacement.

No.... absolutely not. Do so only if you wish not to get the real benefits (and look) of OEM BiXenons.. I priced out the cost... $5K for both light assemblies, several new cables, harnesses, connectors, ballasts, STAR reprogram etc... even with pro shop discounts from the dealer, way too expensive.... my guys said they wouldn't even try.... (I own a custom NISMO Tuning Garage.)

Another vote for lighting package. I just love the way it dresses up the car, plus you get a lot of functionality from them as well. Not to mention, everyone that has discussed it has said it is difficulty to impossible to get it together on the car after the fact. Even then, you still don't get all the perks of the factory system. It really is a steal at the price MB is offering it at.

Just my opinion, but unless you have to have the vehicle right here and now a month or 2 wait is nothing to stress over to get what you really want in a car like this, IMO the lighting package (which we call vision package here in Aust. and comes with a lot more than just the better headlights) is definitely worth having

The Lighting package is definitely worth the utility of brighter illumination and distinctive looks. However, the Advanced Agility package is well-worth the extra $360 over the stand alone 18" AMG wheels. Given the trade-off do the Lighting.

I just want to clarify... you are talking about the Dynamic Handling Package with the Sport Button on the dash correct?

All C Coupes have Advanced Agility Control Standard.

If so, then skip that and get the lighting package. I think you will be very impressed with the way the car handles. Most reviews put the DHP at extremely stiff, and almost uncomfortable so the times you will use it are rare in comparison to driving with your headlights!

My C250 did not come standard with the Advanced Agility Package as it was a $1400 option (see below photo). C250s (and C350s) coupes, I believe, come with the standard Agility suspension but not the 315 ADVANCED AGILITY PACKAGE, which many may be calling Dynamic Handling Package. It includes the SPORT button next to the driver's heated seat button on the center stack.

OK, Thats the one. I have always heard it referred to as the Dynamic Handling Package so the Agility nomenclature threw me off!

No worries. That's what the forums are for...knowledge sharing. BTW, standard the Agility Control suspension for the coupes is indeed referenced on page 8 of the 2012 U.S. version C-Class brochure.

2013 C-Class 350 Sedan
Hold out for Xenon, and Dynamic Handling Package which includes the Advanced-Agility Control. The base suspension on all C-Class is Agility Control.

I test drove Sport, Luxury and then a coup with AHP back to back and hands down the AHP was the most comfortable. I wouldn't get the C-Class without it. With AHP you get to adjust the suspension; easy daily driver comfort mode or Sport mode on weekends!
