weathertech floor mats & trunk liner

has anyone purchased the weathertech 'floorliner digital fit' floor mats? and cargo/trunk liner? if so, thoughts on product and fitment?

Product quality and fit is excellent in my sedan. Based on that, I bought three more sets for other cars. If you live in a snow or mud area, get the first set, with the taller lip. If not, flatter mats may work well for just wet, but otherwise clean feet/shoes. Cargo liner also fits perfectly.

I bought the digital fit liners last year for my coupe. They were great except for one thing. The driver side seat, when retracting, will snag the mat and jam and bend the mat. That problem was big enough for me to return it.

Didn't think of that, but good point. A coupe requires front seat movement for rear access and the tall lip could contact the seat bottom. These mats are pretty stiff material. My driver's seat has not moved in almost 4 years, so no problem in the sedan.

~ with all that being said... i think i will go with the standard weathertech mats.

has anyone purchased the trunk liner for a coupe? is it the same as the sedan (for that's all they show online)?

I actually have separate summer and winter mats.

In winter, I use rubber mats and for the rest of the time, I use factory MB carpet mats. My winter mats, the Pantsavers, are maybe 15 years old and I have used this same set for 3 cars.

IMO. Carpet mats are more warm and elegant looking.

~ ditto... this is my intent as well.

the car comes standard with the carpeted mats (summer goods) ...

i ordered the standard weathertech coupe mats front (w88) & rear (w166) - (winter goods) ...

additionally, i ordered the oem coupe trunk/cargo liner (A204 814 0741) per the mb accessory catalog.

Can you take pictures of the regular mats installed when you get them?

Does the trunk liner have cut outs for the 4 cargo tie downs?

Lookup Maxpider 3d Mats... I have these in my 250 coupe, they dont have rears for the coupe, but maybe for the sedan... They work great....They have a cool look to them to, almost like a carbon fiber look...
They matched my tan interior perfectly..not to mention much less expensive.

My liner has slits cut into it to allow you to pass the tie down loops through.

They also cover the driver’s foot rest, which the MB ones don’t. Can you post a pic of your seats and dash through an open door? I have the same beige with black dash. Just curious how yours looks. Thanks.

Hows this? Sorry about the dirt.

Yeah, that looks very nice. Is your dash black or chocolate brown? Here in Australia 95% of upolstery I’ve seen is black, with occasional beige or red. Black gets too hot in the summer here, and it’s just too much black for my liking. Thanks for taking the time to post the pics.

Thanks. It’s a chocolate brown.

When we ( US Navy) visited Sidney ( Battle of the Coral Sea celebration), we pretty much stayed close to King's Cross, the Opera House and so forth.

I think about that great visit every time I drive my C250 coupe (which is not often - as my better half prevails)...................................

My interior is not black.

Glad you enjoyed your visit. California and the east coast of Australia have many similarities - geography, weather and easy going people. Don’t tell too many others, we like to keep it a secret down here :)

We were only in Sydney 8 days that summer and another officer met and married a girl he met during our stay. I saved the wedding invitation - - it's a scroll!!

best,

ez
