Hey now that you have ridden a bit and also put your stock 18s on again...

How is the ride on the 245/35-19 and 275/30-19 ?

I plan to go 19s with the same size tires but Continental DWS all seasons (great tire have had them on 3 cars) to use year round

I will not be lowering, so if that changed anything more, try and keep that aside.

I look forward to your feedback,

~ the ride isn't all that different between the 18's & 19's... a tad more firm with the bigger wheels but not significant in any way.

i am also ordering the dws contis for my current 19" wheels... since i'm having the inlay changed to mb brilliant silver versus the gray ... i'm planning on changing the tires out as well. i agree...the dws tires are great, for i have them on 2 of my others cars.

I think the dw contis can handle better on the road. You are not using the 19's for the snow, right?

the 19's are not being used in the snow but the dws are great in the rain too. the current michelin pilot sports last about 12k and are too soft for any longevity... i'm afraid the dw would have a short life span too as a summer tire.

~ freshly refinished in mb billiant silver inlay with polished/machined face (less center cap) and lots of clearcoat... along with new tires.

it's hard to see the shine of the machined finish in the current pics but that will happen once they are installed on the car. pictures just don't do them justice. also i'm very satisfied with the new tires and the way they look on the rims width and side wall ratio wise.

~ best offset for the coupe in that size is 48 front and 50 rear.

Looks good and like a very professional/neat finish !!!

I know what you mean about pics vs real life - I too prefer that combination just like the stock OEM 786 design to the darker charcoal colour windows and inlays after looking at many wheel alternatives for my C Coupe.

Those particular wheels are no longer available, I may have to buy yours once your lease is up

~ that may just be an option... i can assure you no one takes take of their stuff like me... i even made sure the inside of the rims were resprayed in silver and clearcoated with no rough finish or overspray blow by (smooth)... i like to keep the inside of my wheels just as clean as the front side.

i'm a bit over the top but that's what happens when your prior business was a highline detailing business for 12 years.

cheers!

I absolutely trust what you say andrew, it's obvious to spot out other like minded people, I am just as fastidious with my vehicles (and pretty much everything else) and also an attention to detail freak

I'm certain I'll have a set of custom made 3 or 2 piece 19's in the near future but will still be very much interested in your wheels when the time comes that you will be selling them, I'm also a bit of a wheel ***** and have multiple sets of wheels for most of the different cars I own

Any Pictures of your Coupe on the Super Sport H&R DayJob?

Or anyone? Them or the Eibachs..

Car Looks Awesome Andy, I have Sent you a DM.

What size Tyres did you go for on the Picture Above?

Front - 245/35/19
Rear - 275/30/19 ?

Just want to be able to drive around without scraping in my work multi story car park, but want it to sit just on the 19's.

Dunno if Super Sports would be to aggressive?

~ Thanks! I am still running the tire sizes above and have since placed them on my '15 E400 4-matic coupe (a direct bolt on). I also added Vogtland lowering springs and love them. Dropped the car about 1.4" on all corners.
