Getting a C250. Need some help with mods.

Hello guys!

New to this forum. Going to get a white or black C250 Sport Sedan (leaning towards white since I want to get the AMG diffuser on, looks better in white IMO). No navi sadly but other features so it shouldnt be that bad. I had a question, if I do not get a navi, am I still able to get the harman/kardon sound upgrade?

So now to the mods. I REALLY hate cars that have only one exhaust so I am really thinking of getting the AMG diffuser on the car. I'm a car noob so here is my question... is the diffuser basically the bumper or do I need to buy a bumper for the diffuser?

What exhaust do you guys recommend? I am thinking quad tips so what are the best ones out there? I looked around but apparently, there arent many out there right now. Would it be better if I just get them custom made? I want one with kind of a deep bass sound ish i guess. LMK if you guys got any suggestions.

Thanks for the help!

congrats on the future purchase... most on this particular forum are coupe owners versus the sedan but i may still be able to assist.

the diffuser is the lower black piece for the rear bumper and is able to be purchase without changing the painted bumper itself. several are seen on ebay for sale in oem or aftermarket.

this is an exhaust i found on ebay (bolt-on) which looks quite nice.

You can just swap the diffuser and brackets to an AMG diffuser with brackets.

For a quad exhaust, i think the cheapest option is to get one custom made.

So I can just buy a diffuser online and put it on basically right?

Also, the car is going to be a lease... I do not mind getting parts and installing them and taking them out later (and selling them) when the lease is over but would it void my warranty/service if I change stuff around ? Please let me know. I know that I want to put subs in my car as well so I was wondering if that would also void the warranty/service on the car.

Thanks for the info guys. really appreciate it.

My car is a lease too, I did the quad exhaust upgrade and AMG diffuser. You can easily drop the entire factory exahust from the resonator back at the clamp, so you can turn it back to 100% stock. This is what I did and I built a cusotm setup for VERY cheap. Between the diffuser ($200), Magnapack and Y-Pipe (~$100) the quad exhaust tips ($190) and labor ($200) it only cost me about $700 for a quad exhaust setup that was custom to the way I wanted it done. I typically like my cars loud, but this one was not as loud as I expected. I think its partially because it is a Turbo car which quiets things down a bit. I would be curious to hear how it sounds straight-piped...

It doesn't void any warranty. The only warranty it voids is the warranty on your stock exhaust (which is non-existent). Modifying anything after the catalytic converter will not harm anything in the engine or drivetrain. And even if you did for some reason develop issues, they can't void your warranty on your engine/drivetrain or anything else unrelated to the exhaust work unless they can specifically prove the exhaust modifcations caused the failure/issue.

You can also find a few other mods that I have done and information on them.
