Small mods and need help orange side marker
Hey Mbworld,
Been loving this site ever since a fellow benz owner showed me it. I did a few common mods that I really think turned out well. Not looking to go crazy and switch the exhausts or anything, but if you have any suggestions on future projects feel free to comment.
In case you're wondering its a 2013 c350 2dr with AMG sports package Diamond Metallic white. I dont remember the tint percentages but i know they are very dark. 5% limo tint on the sunroof though and a light tint on the front windshield (I live where it gets over 110 degrees in the summer)
I didnt like the look of the aluminum color fins on the grill so I (meaning this auto shop) painted them a high gloss black. I think it looks fantastic and these pictures hardly do it justice.
I also replaced the chrome trunk badge to a black one that I purchased online (see below) and removed the c350 emblems. Looks MUCH cleaner in my opinion.
In the last picture you can see part of the aluminum on the grill that got painted.
Also I need some help finding some quality replacement parts to switch the ugly orange side marker to clear if anyone could point my in the right direction that would be awesome.
If you need any black/red/chrome OEM badges already painted.

Thanks for checkin out my ride

I actually meant to order the clear ones since my car is white. Contacted the seller and he changed the order no problem and kept it on schedule. Got it installed and it looks great. Worth every penny.
EDIT: These are the CLEAR side markers for anyone wondering.

My car was due for its service A right as i was doing these mods, so I just had them at the Benz dealership take the c350 off and switch the trunk badge with another black OEM trunk badge. I asked for the chrome badge back and they told me it doesnt come off in one piece (meaning they broke it haha)

Hmm well we do drive different models so maybe they just started doing that because I know for a fact the trunk star is not held with just adhesive on my car. Only the C and 350 are held with adhesives.

I'm reviving this thread because I actually use the search function.... (I'm a supermod on LS1tech.com, a fellow IB site).
I recently got my 2013 C350 coupe, and picked up smoked side markers, and was wonder how hard it is to remove them. Do I need to remove the wheels or can I just turn them to get to the side markers?
In addition to the side markers, I picked up a carbon fiber front splitter, and a carbon fiber raised spoiler.
THanks.
