This is my first post so please bear with me.

I am trying to remove the fan blower from underneath the glove box as its making a bit of ticking sound that's quite annoying.

I can get access to the motor i.e remove the cover etc, and I can get to the point where all the cables are out of the way and I have managed to rotate the motor fully until it appears to no longer be held in place by anything. At this point I am expecting to be able to wiggle it a bit and pull it out but it just wont budge.

Does anyone have any ideas? I simply cannot pull it straight down is there anything I am missing?

After MY 2010 it got tricky-----have you unhooked the tab on the right?
Then twist blower unit until bayonet connection is unlocked---volia

Yes I've pulled the tab up and fully rotated it so it looks as so it should just drop out but it won't budge! No idea why I've also made sure all the cables are out the way aswell I feel as so I'm missing something

There are two marks one on the blower motor and one on frame they must be lined up to unlock the bayonet connector---keep trying
