Who can do Service A and B?

I've leased my coupe for 3 years and 7.5K miles/year. Most likely, I'll only be putting about 5-6K miles/year on the car. I've a very good foreign car independent repair person who does tons of BMWs and MBs. Can he do the servicing? I know he'll be a lot more cost efficient than MB, but need to know it he does the work (which I assume must be done one way or the other,) will this be acceptable when the car is turned in at lease expiration?

As long as he uses MB OEM parts and MB approved Oils and fluids, I don't think there should be a problem. And keep all the records!

Just spoke to my indy and he said he does Service A for $175. Gotta be less than my MB dealer, eh? But let me ask: It is essentially and oil/filter change with checking fluid levels. So if I DIY the oil/filter (keeping receipts) and check fluid levels at 1 year, it would cost me around $50-60. Wouldn't this be enough to satisfy the Service A requirements?
