Where does the heat go?
I've been noticing this for quite a while. After driving for several miles or for 20+ minutes, the hood does not feel hot...not even warm. This is the first car for which the hood doesn't get hot; so, where does the heat go and how do they do it? Just curious...

Flycaster if you pop open the hood you'll notice it's covered by a heat Insulation mat, thats what's keeping your hood from getting extremely hot.

Yeah, that insulation shield does great job in preventing heat dissipation via the hood.
But then I would assume that the engine compartment must get mighty hot |
