C220 won't start
 

Greetings my 1995 c220 won't start. I turn the key, the wipers come on (without being turned on) and I get a clicking sound only. Get a jump and it fires right up. Could this be as simple as a battery or am I looking at a short or something? Thanks in advance

you must be careful whit a jump! I have whit that for some 500€ burnt some parts of the elektro... :mercy:
if you stil want to do it... thurn your lights on just when you strats her up... the lights will normally thek the powerjumps up...

whas this the frist time that she had a flat battery? dit you drove her de day before?
mabe is the battery broken... old...

ps: de wipers thats normale... all the indicators comes down to...

Thanks for the advice. I replaced that battery and all appears fine. Just curious though, why did the wipers come on when the battery went dead?
