Bose kinda sucks in general, but it probably sounds better than the Non Bose system if they are both non-modded. I have the eight speaker Bose with an aftermarket deck and a sub and I love it. I found the Bose in the 1995 model to be SEVERELY lacking in the bass dept, but the highs were crisp and the mids were OK. The 1999 Bose I have now (with the stock deck) had WAY better low end response, but still not enough punch. The highs were pretty good in it and the mids seemed to improve drastically over the one in the 1995 model. After I put the aftermarket deck in there (before sub) it sounded MUCH better in all three catagories, but it still didn't quite have the punch I wanted so I threw a JL 12" in it with a little 250 watt amp and it sounds great to me.

I have the non-bose and it's very well-rounded. I'm quite satisfied with it. Doubt it's worth the extra money for the bose, as my parents' car has the bose system, and it's not noticeably better than my own.

well i heard the sound of a bose system in a w210 dont know if they are the same, but the bose in the 210 had very good quality with little distortion....either ways its still much better than the std sound system in normal 202's
