Did you sell the 17" AMGs? :topic:

I just got the car like a month or two ago and just got the wheels on Friday. It will be lowered but I have to roll and pull the fenders. The front rim is 19x8.5 with ET 32mm and the tire is a 235/35/19. It already rubs a little at this height.

if you mean rubbing on the front plastic wheel liner. it's normal when you go up size to 19". looks good :y

19's are a bit massive, i only thought of 17's nothing beyond that.

i bought this half cut from the original c36/37rs carlsson tips from UK for 70 pounds with shipping

No those plastic covers are already gone. The front rim is 8.5 and the et should be more like 35, the front tire is wide and has a square sidewall. With four people in the car and if i hit a big bump it will rub. If I just lowered it now as is I'm pretty sure the fender would be touching the tire. They are pretty much lined up.

That's quite a bit lower, any degradation in ride quality?

How many inches lower was the kit and did you have to roll your fenders to prevent tire rub?

KJWHIT 10-01-2009 10:59 PM

no none at all alil stiffer but expected nobody notices anything in ride quality besides me a tiny bit .....the fenders were already rolled dont know if thats something they did on c43s or what but mine was when i bought it and it wasnt lowered when i bought it either....no tire rub at all anywhere jus wish the front was about 3 cm lower in the front

KJWHIT 10-01-2009 11:00 PM

oo and it was vogtland springs about 1.4 in.
