Black Trim

Ruzhkata, you should try painting your gray trim black to match (but leave the chrome). It'll look good with those tinted turn signal lights.

the corner lights are the chinese depo off of e-bay. i know i need a drop, i'm saving up money for that lol. i can buy the springs but the strut bars are like 400 bucks alone lol. i was just wondering when you drop the car do you need to get a camber kit?

and a reply to the previous post i will be doing something to the trim. i was thinking about wrapping it in carbon fiber vinyl or painting it black. i had some not careful cart collector at a grocery store scratch the front and back bumper trim on the right hand side so i'm not sure what will happen if i paint over it and how to actually do it, some body shop help might be needed.

So am i, man. Hoping to finally get them with my tax return money. haha a lot of my buddies got springs on their rides and after about 6 months to a year, they had to get camber kits so i dont know how big of an issue it can be..

ruzhkata 03-04-2011 02:58 PM

camber kits are even more expensive. can we get some testimonials from the fellas that dropped their whips already and see if we can find cheaper bilsteins and what kind of camber kits did ya'll use if u got any?

I second this. very interested in how the drop process works for our W202s, myself.

I'm confused. Are the pictures removed after a certain period of time? There are only a few post's where there are actually pictures posted..

First post here :) . Just wondering if anyone knows exactly what color this is and was it a color option in the US? I live in Los Angeles and have never seen it before. Awesome looking.

No, they don't rub at all, I'm running GoodYear Excellence 225/45ZR17 both front and back on 8J ET35 rims.
