C200 Oil Leak
Hi Everyone,
I am hoping someone can shed some light on my problem.
I just (2 days ago) purchased a w202 c200 from a second hand dealer. The car was sold with a road worthy certificate (compulsory in Australia) but I have noticed there is a lot of oil sitting in the oil pan and it is also making its way onto the road.
I can't see any visible signs of oil leaking from the block.
The oil is a similar colour to cooking oil so I assume it is engine oil.
Has anyone experienced anything similar or know the fix for it.
If this is a simple fix, I don't mind repairing it, however, if it will be expensive to fix I will probably return the car.

does not sound very healthy
If you can jack up your car a little and look to see better where the oil is coming from could be simple fix or could be bigger problem but hard to say with as little detail as you gave maybee take some pictures or give detail as to where exactly its coming from. good luck
