C280 Repair Manual
 

I am looking a repair manual for the C280 Benz prefably DIY kinda manual or does someone wanna teach me the finer art of working on a C280

sorry but your out of luck, there are none. you can try mbusa publications and they will tell you that you can get a CD, but it probably won't be out till the end of the year. i find this really stupid since my C280 is 5 yrs old! anyway if you really need something bad you can try startekinfo.com, an official mercedes site. I found it hard to use but if you can navigate your way thru the setup you might find what you need.

also interested in a c280 manual....checked out that website...but stopped at the subscription page....is this site intended for independed shops or dealers...the cost seems to be excessive (ridiculous even) for private customers....is there any way to grt the factory m/b manuals for the C-class?

vas2vas, i believe that site is primarily for dealers and techs. I got the site name thru MB usa and a tech who posts on mercedesshop.com says it's the only resource for newer MB's. Call MB usa and ask for publications, maybe if we get enough calls in they might actually do something.
