Interior Dome Light

Interior Dome Light
Hi all:
I have an odd problem(odd to me anyway) with my dome lights. They will not turn on when the front driver or passenger door is opened. The manual switch works just fine. Door activation works in some manner, I assume, because if exterior lights are on or the key is in the ignition when the door is opened, the buzzer will sound.
Rear dome lights work without a problem.
Initial thoughts lead me to the wiring in the dome - any ideas?
