Looking for Lowering springs

Am looking to lower my 97 c280 sport.... And does this car use differnt springs that the c220 and the amg model..???? Or do all these cars use the same spring....

Am looking at getting some HR springs with at least a 2in drop.

C36/C43 AMG's are differ than all W202's, you can get an used set of any of them, or of course H&R are good choice either..:)

cm60k 02-23-2015 03:50 AM

I'm not so sure about non-AMG springs, but AMG suspension are HD & aggressive..:)

I just had all my leaks fixed. Thank God. I have the same exact car like you have. A silver 1997 C280 Sport with M104 engine and 722.6 tranny 5 speed Auto. Though mine has 245,xxx miles on it. I replaced all the seals from the front (timing cover, and crank shaft seal) and rear of the engine (Head gasket with an updated Mercedes head gasket, and rear main seal) Top (valve cover gasket) and underneath (like what cm60k says). This car is very reliable in fact I still drive this car on my long trips like from Sacramento to Los Angeles or Everett, WA. :)
