Backfire/loss of power

i just got a c280 elegance w202 1995 only did about 117k. i have replaced the following;
* MAF bosch
*Cam shaft sensor
*Coil Pack all 3 bosch
*spark plug bosch
spark plug leads
*oil and fileter
*wiring harness appears to be new

i am getting momentary loss of power, backfire. sometimes on idle it is at 900 other 700. at time when i press the accelerator when still it does not want to go and after a second or two it surges!!!!

using carsoft7.4 is not giving me any errors.

i really need help. this is frustrating!!!

Update

previously, i have looked at the throttle body, it was very clean. i ran a the diagnostics carsoft and it gave me an error saying cranckshaft sensor error (something like that). can that cause the loss of power/backfire?

ok, i will try and replace it. do you know of a way to access it and replace it easily. someone took out the oil filter housing and others said t remove the starter motor. would it be easier to access it from under the car?

Hopefully you got it fixed and keep in mind for future work of replacing sensors, try to find out how many sensors the engine takes and list them. Process of elimination, if you're doing most of them do all of them, oil level, coolant, etc. But most likely the cause was the crank position sensor. There's always two that can be confusing, camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor. Good luck!

I was able to replace the crankshaft sensor with only removing the tubing that leads to the throttle body, i do have long arms and scinny fingers. the next day it was sitll backfiring, going in and out of limp mode, an over time it decreased till it went away. it cam back again, but when i have been driving for 30 min, it is fine and perfect.

any ideas as to what that is temperature dependent?

HELP.
