Ok so I have a 1997 c280 with 201k that I bought from an auto auction. When I got the car I scanned it and the code i was getting was P0730, incorrect gear ratio. The transmission does not engage into reverse and is in electrical limp mode. So far I replaced the conductor plate, checked the solenoids with a multimeter, replaced the gear shift assembly, replaced tranny fluid with 7 bottles. After replacing everything I scanned the car again and it was giving me the same error along with P1584 Stop Lamp Switch. Since then I replaced the tcm, and the car would not start up, there was no lights on the dash, no electric at all and the car would not turn over. I switched back to my original tcm and I am getting the same results, nothing. Any help would be awesome at this point! Thanks

Find someone with a DAS Xentry set who can correctly define the problems!
