W211 Number plate lights - are they fused?
I have a 2005 E220 the RH Number plate light is not working with a message on the dash. I have replaced the bulb but there is no power. I have checked the wiring in the trunk lid and can find no breaks or visible signs of wear. Are there any fuses on the lighting system?

Wrong vehicle section..
If you have no power to the bulbs, then most likely you have a broken wire somewhere in the trunk lid hinge harness. There shouldn't be a fuse on this circuit. I've repaired many of these harnesses and I've never had to replace a fuse for anything back there unless something else was at fault and caused more significant damage.
