Trunk Won't Open

I can open it with the (medal) key but it won't open with the remote.
Also, the switch inside to open the trunk won't light red (but the actual picture of the car is still lit white).

Any ideas before I get scalped by the dealer?

Check the vacuum hose going to the lock. It could have come disconnected or been kinked.

The red light will come on AFTER the trunk has opened. ;)

Yea, I know; I should have clarified that I meant the red light won't come on even after I manually open the trunk.

Still, I suppose the vacuum line could definitely be the culprit.

Does anybody know if I can access this directly in the trunk lid by unscrewing the center plate?
