passenger mirror - not fully functional
 

2000 C280 / W202 - passenger mirror moves up/down , but does not move all the way right/left .
Any ideas what the problem may be, planning on removing cover this week..
what can I expect to find as the problem ?

Could be the motor actuator in the side mirror. It could be sticky (and require cleaning, and lubrication) - try pushing the corners of the mirror as you press the directional control button to move the mirror.
The covers are quite easy to remove and access.
If this doesnt improve it, then the motor assembly needs to possibly be replaced.
Check all options before you go to the stage of pick'n pull replacement. :)
