C220 bursting radiator hose clamps

C220 bursting radiator hose clamps
Hi All - I have a ‘95 C-220 that is bursting hose clamps on the upper radiator hose. Mostly the clamp at the thermostat.
The car will run fine for several weeks, sometimes months, then a clamp will go and we have coolant and steam from under the hood. The only thing left of the clamp is the inner ring - the worm drive and screw will be gone.
I replaced the hose and the thermostat. It ran fine for about three months then happened again this week. Any suggestions?
