Air conditioning sequence
I have a mb c-220, 1995
I believe the idle speed should be 1k rpm
then when the a/c is engaged, the idle should go up to 1.5k rpm to compensate for the hp needed to power the compressor
Rather it’s idling at a stop sign or waiting in a parking lot
once the temperature is set to 60% the flow should reflect this as well as the direction
what’s happening is this level of 60% ceases to remain constant and slowly defaults to room temperature ?
mind you, the R-134A is at a full level
To restore it, ( I turn off the A/C for a few minutes then turn it back on ) and suddenly the temperature is back to the original 60% temperature ?
is there something, ( sensor ? ) that is causing this early cutoff ?
