Crankcase breather hose replacement...
Crankcase breather hose replacement help!! I have a 1998 c230 been working on it forever trying to figure out where the breather hoses hook up inside the engine. The hose that hooks up to the oil separator is the only I found in tact the other two smaller hoses that come off both sides of the t connector where both broken off and just hanging there I finally found where the side that is near the oil separator hooks up way up under the manifold but now I can't find where the other side hooks up! I've searched online and in the repair book I have but haven't found any helpful info on my exact make and model. Frustrated! It's the only thing keeping me from driving my car again and it's been sitting for about 6 months now driving me crazy! Anyways I don't know how to pull out the manifold to try and get a better look at where it might hook up I can gain access to the area where it should hook up I have small hands but just can't see anything does it connect to the EGR valve? Or maybe underside of throttle body if one side hooks directly up to the crankcase then the other end has to hook up to something that will burn the excess fuel from the crankcase right? I'm still learning so forgive me for not knowing how to fix this. Would appreciate any kind of help thanx.
