Hi there. Although I'm new around here (duh) , I've been German car enthusiast for many years. Anyway, I just wanted to pass this along....

In case anyone was looking forward to getting an '06 C-Class wagon, I heard it's (regular and 4-MATIC) being dropped just like the coupe in the US. A C55 wagon would have been nice however. I wonder if the wagon was even less popular than the coupe?

(I did STFF, and in case my search skills are lacking, I apologize if this has been mentioned previously)

Damn those French!

Ironically, the original Renault Scenic of the mid-to-late 90's was the one that started the mini-MPV(short and tall) craze in Europe, and added fuel to the overall global Crossover/AWD/MPV/Soft-roader trend. The B and R-class are the direct result of these type of vehicles becoming popular. People (especially in the US) just don't associate "versatility" with models like the C-class coupe and wagon anymore. They want their "hatch" attached to something that looks fresh. My 0.02 cents.
