Sure. As it was stated earlier, the 05's have AMG tuned suspension as well as the cosmetic components. A car's performance is not solely based on its engine, suspension is equally performance oriented. With that said, I think having AMG tuned suspension would justify the badge since it no longer represents only cosmetic changes, but also points out a AMG performance upgrade.

you can goto fletcher jones or any dealer and see cars they have, S classes etc that are decked out in Lorisor or Brabus wheels and body kits, tthat have respective badges., Posers - NO, but the c230 with amg does look silly,

Point taken about the car not being built by AMG.
AMG does not only built engines, as it is evident from the fact that they also design body kits, suspension, brakes, etc. Without talking about the cosmetic stuff, I don't think it's lying about the what the car has since it clearly has AMG performance components as well.
Anyway, you've mentioned quite a few times that we can do whatever the hell we want with the car, so that's what we'll keep doing. But calling someone a liar when you don't agree with what they've done is what I don't get here. Thanks for letting us know your views on tuning etiquette, I'll think about it and laugh the next I "tune" my car.

There is no rule what to list and what not to list in a sig. Mine is pretty compact (spacewise) at that. My mods are listed with a "+" sign, if you have not figured that out on your own. The rest are options. I posted them so that people who may have questions about them (or problems related to them) could find who has which options to address their issues in a more focused manner.And to give you a little more food for thought - my car looks 100% stock, with no stickers/badges/neon lights/white lenses/etc.

Littlemin, you'll find your car eventually...the 330i ZHP is a good deal, but the '06 C230 will be nice as well...just cross your fingers and hope there isn't a price hike for the '06!

Again, you fail to grasp one thing: it does not matter how many AMG parts are in your car. Unless the car is built by AMG (and most importantly, has an AMG-tuned engine), it is not AMG. This etiquette was not imposed by me; nor do I care about what badges you slap on your car. I am just trying to communicate the message. To listen or not is up to you.
The general rule (not limited to AMG) says: a badge reflects only what you can not see (= the engine). Again, it was not invented by me. Try to digest it.
