'04 Mars Red C230K Sport Coupe (not Coup-EH)
SLK grille on non-SLK
I saw this interesting mod last week when I was in LA. Looks like a replacement grille for Mercedes to make the car look like it's a new SLK. This guy had done something interesting on the back end too, sort of a wing built-in to the trunk lid. I was going to snap a pic, but traffic started moving. I'm curious if you guys think these are custom mods or something widely available, as I've not seen talk about these here (not that I like them or anything, but they're interesting nonetheless).

That grille is the DTM Lorinser one I believe. I saw on mbklasse a company that produces that same grille for the coupe and sedan w203

that's interesting. actually today i was thinking about putting the last SLK grill, like from a 2004 with the black mesh and 5 or 6 inch star on my car like this: (would have to be highly modified though)

BTW, 05 and up Coupes come with a perforated grille that looks very similar to the old SLK Grille(which is so much better than the F1 SLR nose the new car has).
