Arrow 01'-05' C320

The best of the C-Class lineup (except the AMGs of course!). These suckers can do 6.9 to 60mph stock. Now, help me out with prices. I'm daring to even consider one of these. It would be a dream come true if I found one for the right price. I want something, in good condition, either black or silver on the exterior, but definately the black on the interior. Mileage isn't something I'm too worried about. My thing is, if it runs fine, and looks fine, and teh mechanics are fine, it should be fine. Help me out with what kind of prices I should be watching out for. I know about kbb.com, and all the others, just give me your side, especially if you own one. My budget is 20k.

Now, what are the mods for these? Would it be more expensive to get performance parts for the C320, than the C230 and C240? Are suspension mods costly, or the same as the other two? Can I swap parts from a C32 onto this model?

Try a cheaper car, you can't get a benz with that budget so dream on.

To be honest I was going to rip you a new one. But since I have a C320 I have to say I am flattered by your post. I will spare you this time.

Yes, C320's are awesome !!!

$20k budget ????? you might want to try Volkswagen, if you must do German. Mercedes-Benz are not cheap. Maybe an A-Class or B-Class if they ever get here.

Mods ? You're asking about mods, on a forum that lives & breathes mods.
You're kidding right. SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH

Performance parts for the C320 are to be had. Much more so than the C230K, however they are very costly. And since it looks like you're on a budget, probably out of your range. Sorry to be harsh, but you need a reality check.

Suspension mods: from basic springs for a few hundred dollars to full coilover suspension kits running in the thousands !!

There are quite a few C32 AMG parts that can be installed onto the C320 Sedan and even on the C320 Coupe. However, once again, we're talking $$$$.

Don't want to discourage you, since the C320 is pretty awesome,
but it just doesn't seem all your posting and ranting about C240, C230K, and now C320 makes sense with the type of shallow pocket and high expectations you have divulged. Good luck !

Carlos

for some reason, the insurance premium for my '05 mb C320 is lower than the one for my old '99 bmw 328i . I don't get it because blue book says it's 3 times the value of the '99 328i

I have found plenty of C240 and C230K sedans for under 20k. Most of them aren't black interior, and are red or sandstone outside. Mileage, do you guys agree, isn't a problem if the car is in good mechanical shape?

I believe that his behavior is not a crime but actually has contributed to some forum entertainment in a weird sort of way.

Banned is a little harsh. Let's just re-route all their traffic to say... e46fanatics or something.
