one of the LED on the trunk ain't working...
 

was driving my friend's c240 to hear the exhaust he just got while following my car which he was driving, I notice one of the LED bulbs on the trunk lid brake light is not working. And then when we get to his house I tested it again after restarting the car and it worked again. However, friend said that wasn't the first time he saw that same LED weren't working.

Any thoughts? I'll only have time to get it fixed after the summer vac starts.

I remember back in '02/'03, people here would have said "lemon" the car :rolf:
It its out of warranty, you can either take it out and try to see if it is a loose connection and fix it yourself, or just buy a new one to replace it.

They are not LED lights.

IF the 05's have an LED 3rd brake light (according to the manual), now the perfect time to update :y

They may call it LED, but they are really small bulbs. At least everyone Ive seen was. Same with the mirror lights.

BTW, I have an 02 coupe and it comes with a LED third brake light. I mean the one on the hatch lid is LED, how do I know? I just took it apart.

i thought 3rd brake light and mirror blinkers are LEDs..... no?
frank, did u get bulb error msg?
