i had a chance to see the new key tonight, it looks nice but it's bigger and heaver than the last key, two things i dont need for something in my pocket

go to mercedes-benz.com and do a seach for dealers in washington state. you would have to pre-order of course. all i know is that Eugene of Portland will do it. not too sure about Seattle. let me know how it goes.

i live in stockton,CA were can i get one around here?the parts guy told me that it wouldnt work on my car because of the year,by the way i have a 2002 c240 would this new remote work on it?

Is anyone else annoyed when the dealer says it won't work? Like we are idiots and haven't researched this and have 30 documented cases of it working. Let's be honest...the people on this board are alot more knowledgable about Benzes than the techs at the dealers...which explains alot when you look at the poor reliability of our cars.

Still Waiting For My Other Key To Come In From Mb Of Miami
Yes They Did Order It For Me
And Also Seems That Jason In Ft Lauderdale Mb Can Order It For Us Too (if You Live Here And Show Proof)

Oh wow, I forgot about this thread... I can't believe it's still going on. I got the new key and quite frankly, while it's nicer in an updated sense, it's nothing special for those who don't have it and are dying to get it. You're better off getting Illuminated Door Sills or something that will actually make your car look or perform better.

Nope, I have to call up my Service Advisor and say when. He got me a decent price for a dealer. He said just call when I'm ready and they can get it in a few days and all I need to do is schedule a time to have it installed.

Finally got mine. I went to Keyes European in Van Nuys, CA. I gave them the part numbers from this thread, indentification, and proof ownership; and they ordered it for me. Came in two days later (today), and the car started right up. I paid $67.88. I think it's worth it.

then i call bervery hill mercedes, they told me it's 25.
if the new key cost only 68, i would love to get it
