thanks for the pics! looks much better than stock...but how would you rate the hoen bulbs vs the lexus bulbs? seems like the hoen bulbs are pure white whereas the lexus bulbs have this blue tinge?

From what I understand, the Lexus lights are CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting) and are likely to give off that blue tint, but I could be wrong. The Hoen bulbs are just filament bulbs and are tinted blue to give them a pure white look.
I prefer the pure white look, but that's me.

Gotchya. I remember someone posting a DIY on a CCFL install on e46fanatics. Looks awesome, but I'm hesitant about butchering up my trunk.

/bump, just want to say thanks to phil and all the dedication has gone into this thread. I pretty much read a novel reading through all of it and went through some bad ebay bulbs myself, so im REALLY thrilled to see something finally came through!!! Thanks guys,

Gregs pics are great, but I was wondering if anyone had a straight-on shot of them from the back....I'm still using the ebay ones, I'm on my second set, but I did just realize that he offers a lifetime warranty so if they do go out again, I'll be taking advantage of it...
