Please post deals on '02 or '03 C-class?

I just sold my car, now looking for a deal on the C class sedan. Please post what kinds of deals (color, price and options) are you getting currently so that I can negotiate with my dealer. They offered me a black C320 with C2 package for $35,703 which is $600 under invoice. It's a 2002 model.
And also, is the 2003 bi-xenon coming with the clear projector style headlights? The dealer have a non xenon model and it does not have a projector headlight and none of the pictures in the 2003 brochure show the projector headlights. I love the look of the projector headlights and willing to spend more if the '03 does comes with it.

You can do better around here in NYC. I got a 2002 C320 Wagon with C2 and C4 for $36500. Did you try to find a competitve dealer through the web and use his quote as leverage?

C320 Wagon, Sticker $41,005 (C2, Metallic), $34,600.

They're giving them away.

After driving for three months, I know why. Last MB's I drove extensively were my dads 1977 240D and wifes 1972 280. The quality has really gone downhill since then - materials feel cheaper and less solid.

Frankly, BMW and Audi seem built better.

There is still another dealer in town that I can check out but haven't had the time to go there.
MBNewbii, thats a great deal but I think they did it because the wagon hasn't been selling too well. I dont think they will give such a deal on the sedan but I'd like to know which dealer quoted you that price? I agree that MB quality hasnt been the best lately but I heard that BMW isn't any better and I read about the horrible service BMW owners get from the dealers. I might have to take a look at the Audi A4 though.

Yeah...the BMW service/dealers suck, but the car (I had a 528 wagon) felt much more solid, and frankly, it drove better - more connected to the road, steering. The only aspects of the MBZ I prefer are the increased power and the light gray leather interior. Oh, and the shifter.

I had an 1996 A4 and loved it. Next time, I'll probably get an Audi.

Long Beach MB was my dealer, FYI. Talk to Rick Burgess.

Actually, I got the same quote, within $200, from three dealers, so there's nothing that unusual about it.

BTW, that also included full leather.
