Door Lock Button Doesn't Function - Thoughts
 

On a '05 C230 SS, the door lock button on the center console decided to stop working tonight. The doors will lock automatically at 9mph, so the whole system hasn't failed, just the button. However, the unlock button still works fine.

Any thoughts? Anyone else have this problem?

I'm putting it in for service in the next few days so I'll have it taken care of, just wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts.

Sounds like the lock button switch is not working. Warranty item on an 05.

Yep, sounds like a service related issue. Good luck.

Of course...next day it begins working again. Still going have them look at it/replace it when serviced.
