Is there such a thing as an Ash 3 spoke steering wheel???

I'm getting a new Silver/Ash C230 and would like to have a steering wheel that matches the interior. I've seen some 4 spoke versions by doing a search, but could not find anything with a 3 spoke design like the '05 & '06 Sport Sedan and C55s. Can anyone help???

nope. i believe all the sport steering wheels would come in black.

here's a picture of an ash interior car with the sport steering wheel.

You can buy a Brabus 3 spoke steering wheel in ash color. It's made by Victor. I have the charcoal color Brabus 3 spoke steering wheel in my car.

That's what mine is going to look like and I would really like the steering wheel to match the seats or dash top. I'll see if I can find out about the Brabus. I just thought there might be another MB three spoke wheel that would work.

Theres nothing wrong with the ash interior and a black steering wheel, I have it, takes away from the all light gray monotony, but its up to you.

you can put silver carbon fiber on the steering wheel to brighten it up.

The top one is a CL55 if I'm not mistaken. Now that in a three spoke wheel would look awsome in my new car!!!

I've been looking for an Ash replacement steering wheel. I read a while back that the 4 prong steering wheel will not fit on the 3 prong model, but I could've misunderstood.

After I saw how much it would be to get a different steering wheel, I squashed the idea of replacing my steering wheel. I'd rather spend that money and a little more on the new headers or a new bumper.

I'll be honest with ya, the steering wheel is one of the big reasons I went for the black interior.

I also have the ash grey interior. I added charcoal colored floor mats (factory), which gives the interior some nice contrasting colors. The dark mats (almost black) compliment the color of the steering wheel and the shifter boot. The charcoal mats also don't show dirt as much. You can get black mats, too.

If you are intent on changing the steering wheel, remember the airbag must also be replaced (expensive). This is true whether you are changing from 3 to 4 spoke, or are simply changing the color. I have been told the 3 spoke wheel is only black (US models). As previously mentioned, I am not sure a 4 spoke can replace a 3 spoke without modification.

Slightly off topic: most BMW's have a black steering wheel, regardless of interior color.

an ash steering wheel would get so damn dirty!

I have the Ash w/ black steering wheel, and I like the contrast.
But I think on early 04's the sport steering wheel and the shifter nob were color coded to the interitor. If I'm right, Some one should have that combo.
Anyone?

You may be right because I don't think they came out with the 3 prong steering wheel for the sport sedan until my year ('04.5).

I had to switch my shifter (bought from Steve - MBenzNL) to the Ash with the benz logo.

I just don't know why they wouldn't offer a possible swap. I special ordered my car and didn't realize that the steering wheel wouldn't be color matched. I also didn't realize I'd be getting a 2004.5 model.

Yea, MB did some strange things for a mid-year change over, I remember at the time, the dealer didn't even know what was up. I guess it just makes our '04.5 a little unique, I like that.
